From April 1, 2024, the minimum wage will increase. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced this.
The increase will be 900 UAH.

“From April 1, the minimum wage will increase. Now it is 7100 hryvnia. It will be 8,000 hryvnia,” he informed.
The change in the minimum wage and the number of changes are determined in the state budget of Ukraine for 2024. According to it, the minimum wage is changing twice this year:
- from January 1 – 7,100 UAH per month and 42.60 UAH per hour; from April 1 – 8 thousand UAH and 48 UAH per hour.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that payments for working pensioners will increase in Ukraine.
“In March, more than 10 million Ukrainian pensioners received indexed payments on time. In total, pensions worth UAH 62 billion were paid this month,” added Denis Shmihal.
