From April 1, the minimum wage and a number of other payments increased. How the payment amount has changed

From April 1, the minimum wage will be 8 thousand hryvnia – the second stage of increase provided for by the law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2024.” However, there will be more than just an increase in the minimum wage. What payments will increase

– people with disabilities, combatants, those who have no more than 5 years left before becoming eligible for an age pension and citizens who are in the status of registered unemployed for more than 1 month – up to 8 thousand UAH;

– young people from the registered unemployed (under the age of 25 – who have insurance experience of less than 12 months; at the age of up to 35 years – for the first job; dismissed from conscript military/alternative service – for the first job) – up to 4 thousand UAH;

– citizens who have unemployed status for more than 1 month and have additional guarantees of employment, or having the status of unemployed for more than 6 months – up to 3520 UAH;

– internally displaced persons during martial law – up to 8 thousand UAH.
