The operator of gas storage facilities in Ukraine, Ukrtransgaz, began a new season of gas injection into underground storage facilities (UGS) on April 1. This was reported by the press service of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

What is known
“The end of the withdrawal season and the start of gas injection into Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities marks the end of the heating season,” said Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz Alexey Chernyshev.
For the selection season, which started on November 7, 2023, 8.5 billion cubic meters of gas were taken from the underground gas storage facility, of which Ukraine used 6.7 billion cubic meters. Part of the gas was stored in Ukrainian storage facilities by European traders.
In total, the gas withdrawal season lasted 145 days.
