Intel sold its office in Nizhny Novgorod, which was the largest in Russia. This is reported by The Moscow Times.

The agreement was completed in January of this year, and the buyer for the regional office corporations have been looking for a long time. The list of sold assets includes a building and land. The name of the buyer is not mentioned in the reporting.
In Nizhny Novgorod, Intel owned an RnD office, which served as a hub for research and development in Russia. It housed laboratories, divisions for the development of cross-platform software and SHI solutions.
Due to the full-scale war against Ukraine unleashed with Russia, the corporation suspended its activities on Russian territory.
The corporation also reported that they would not abandon their obligations to the employees of the Russian division and would provide them with assistance.
At the end of last year, two people worked at the Russian Intel, which unites two legal entities. Previously, the company had 1.2 thousand employees.
