Seafood producer Vici is selling its business in Russia

Leading Lithuanian seafood producer Viciunai Group is preparing to sell its business. Kommersant writes about this with a link to the report of Vichunai-Rus LLC.

The agreement was approved by the Russian government Commission for the Control of Foreign Investments in February 2024.

Rights of claim under loan and debt agreements in the amount of $29.4 million and 1.86 million euros will be transferred to the Russian Ocean Group. The change of ownership will take place “in the near future.”

The Viciunai-Rus company is a division of the Viciunai Group. It produces crab sticks, shrimp and semi-finished products in the Soviet region in the Kaliningrad region of Russia. Production capacity exceeds 120 thousand tons per year.
