During the first quarter of 2024, Ukrainians purchased about 4.2 thousand passenger cars imported from China. Ukravtoprom reports this.

Demand for Chinese cars is growing
Compared to the same period last year, demand for Chinese-made cars increased by 75%.
< p>Of this amount: new – almost 3 thousand units. (+114%); used – about 1.2 thousand units (+21%).
So, in the first quarter, cars of Chinese origin covered 18% of the market for new cars. In the segment of used cars, first registered in Ukraine, the share of “Chinese” was 2%.
What is imported from China
The absolute majority of passenger cars from China were electric cars – 85%.
The most popular models of new cars of Chinese origin:
- VW iD.4 – 750 units; Honda eNS1 – 255 units; BYD Song Plus – 227 units; Nissan Ariya – 189 units; Gelly Atlas Pro – 164 units.
Top 5 used passenger cars from China:
- VW iD.4 – 350 units; Nissan Ariya – 103 units; Honda eNS1 – 99 units; Toyota bZ4X – 70 units; VW ID.6 – 48 units.
