“Russian attacks once again failed to break the Ukrainian spirit. And Ukraine will not be left alone with these challenges. The UK is stepping up efforts to support Ukraine and has allocated almost £150 million to strengthen the Ukrainian energy sector,” he said.

Holland stressed that Britain will continue to work with G7+ partners to help Ukraine rebuild, protect and build its energy system.

“The UK is committed to providing Ukraine with the support it needs to defend itself and oust Russia from Ukraine's sovereign territory. This is the only path to a just and lasting peace,” said the British Ambassador to the OSCE.

In his speech, he also condemned Russia’s bombing of Ukrainian cities and energy infrastructure, which occurs with “total disregard for human life and international norms and laws that Russia promised to comply with.”
