The US House of Representatives passed a $60 billion bill for Ukraine

The US House of Representatives on Saturday, April 20, voted for a bill on foreign aid for Ukraine in the amount of $60 billion. The Financial Times reports this.

Aid to Ukraine was considered part of package of bills, which also included $26 billion for Israel and $8 billion for the Indo-Pacific region. The bill on financial and military support for Ukraine was supported by 210 Democrats and 101 Republicans. Not a single Democrat voted against the relief package; 112 Republicans voted against it.

The bill will now head to the Senate, which is expected to approve it early next week. Then it will be sent to US President Joe Biden for signing.
