This year Ukraine received $12 billion to cover the budget deficit

In total, since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has received about $12 billion in external financing to cover the budget deficit. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced this during a government meeting.

Szmigal assured that these funds help Ukraine finance medical services, salaries of doctors and teachers, and social programs.

We would like to remind you that on April 24, Ukraine received a tranche from the EU for 1.5 billion euros within the framework of the Ukraine Facility. On the same day, US President Joe Biden signed the long-awaited document on $61 billion in aid to Ukraine.
