3,400 Ukrainian families have taken out loans for the purchase of housing under the Oselya program for almost UAH 6 billion since the beginning of 2024. 30% of this is for the purchase of a first sale home. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Nadezhda Bigun.

How many loans issued since the beginning of the year
In total, since the beginning of the program, 9,757 families have taken out loans for more than 15 billion UAH
“Over the four months of this year, more than 3,400 Ukrainians have already taken out loans for the purchase of housing under the Oselya program for a total amount of almost 6 billion UAH. 3,300 families will buy apartments, 122 will buy private houses. 30% of loans under the program were issued for the purchase of so-called first sale housing – ready from the developer or housing under construction,” noted Bigun.

In particular, last week Ukrainians received 264 loans worth UAH 467 million under the “Eoselya” program, among which:
- 124 military personnel and security officials, 23 teachers received loans at 3% interest, 17 doctors and 1 scientist; 81 Ukrainians without their own home, 9 IDPs and 9 veterans received loans at 7% interest.
More often, loans were taken out for the purchase of housing on the secondary market – 183 loans, while at the same time, 81 Ukrainians took out a loan for the purchase of first-sale housing – finished from a developer, or in a house under construction.
Where they took the most loans
Residents took out the most mortgage loans:
- Kyiv region – 71; the city of Kyiv – 59; Rivne region – 15; Lviv region – 14.
Who can take advantage of the program
Today, both representatives of certain professions and citizens who do not own housing or want to improve its conditions can take advantage of the affordable lending program.< /p>
For contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, teachers, doctors and scientists, the preferential rate is 3% per annum. For other categories – combatants, veterans, IDPs, and other citizens – the mortgage rate is 7%.
The eOselya program began its work in October 2022. The program is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy together with the Ministry of Digital Development and PJSC Ukrfinzhilye. Partner banks are Oschadbank, Privatbank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank, Ukreximbank, Sense Bank and Credit Dnepr Bank.
