The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated more than 7 billion for the restoration of the energy system – Shmygal

The Cabinet of Ministers, during a meeting on May 10, decided to allocate UAH 7 billion 168 million for the restoration of the Ukrainian energy system. Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced this.

“For these funds, equipment will be purchased to update the high-voltage network, as well as for better synchronization of the energy system of Ukraine and the EU. We are grateful to the World Bank group, which provided grants for the implementation of this project,” Shmygal noted.

The Cabinet of Ministers also allocated an additional UAH 189.5 million in order to continue the restoration of apartment buildings in the Kyiv region.

< p>“Last year the government allocated UAH 639 million for these needs. Now it is important to quickly and efficiently complete all projects so that people can return to their homes,” the head of government noted.

The “Ministry of Finance” wrote that Germany will provide Ukraine with 45 million euros in the form of a grant for energy restoration.
