The Cabinet of Ministers decided to allocate an additional 6.8 billion UAH for the implementation of the “Idnovlennya” program. This was announced by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the organization of state power, local self-government, regional development and urban planning, the head of the Servant of the People party, Elena Shulyak.

Details
Almost 4.4 billion UAH are allocated for owners of destroyed housing: they can either receive a housing certificate to purchase a new house, or take advantage of the option to build a house on the same plot.
Another 2.4 billion UAH will go to pay compensation for damaged housing – these are targeted funds that can be used exclusively for repairing damage as a result of Russian armed aggression.
These funds are received in accordance with the Grant Agreement of the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Support, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform of Ukraine (the Housing Repair to Restore People's Rights and Opportunities (HRRE) Project) between Ukraine and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association.
“This is an important decision that we have been insisting on for a long time, since payments under certificates and agreed compensation were blocked due to lack of funding. Thanks to the help of our international partners, in particular the World Bank and the EBRD, we are resuming actual payments,” Shulyak explained.
The Next Step
She added that the government’s next step should be to expand the “eVidnovlennia” program to include housing located in the temporarily occupied territories.
Recall
On July 11, another important expansion of the “eVidnovlennia” program took place — Ukrainians whose destroyed and damaged housing is located in the zone of active military operations can now use the program.
