The IMF appointed a new representative in Ukraine

The International Monetary Fund has appointed Italian Priscilla Toffano as permanent representative in Ukraine. This was reported in the IMF representative office in Ukraine, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

From August 1 of this year, she will replace this post Vahram Stepanyan, who after three years in this post returns to the IMF headquarters.

From September 2013 to May 2023, Tofano worked at the IMF as an economist, after which she was promoted to senior economist. She was also a doctoral intern in 2011–2012 at the European Central Bank and the Bank of England, and a visiting fellow at the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2017–2019.
