In total, more than 485 thousand tourists during day trips in Venice from 8:30 to 16:00 had to pay 5 euros in tax.

< p>It concerned people traveling on buses, cruise ships and some tourist groups on weekends and holidays from April 25 to June 14.

In total, this brought the city 2.4 million euros in income.
