64% of Ukrainian refugees intend to return because they have not adapted to life in new countries. This is stated in a study by Gradus Research.

The adaptation factor has a significant impact on the intention to return to Ukraine, which was noted by 55% of respondents.
The migrants who are most eager to return are those who work remotely for Ukrainian companies (70%) or are temporarily unemployed (68%).
Indirectly affects adaptation and the experience of aggressive behavior on the part of residents of countries of temporary residence: about a quarter of respondents (23%) noted that they had encountered its manifestations. At the same time, 60% of respondents feel personally safe abroad, and slightly more (65%) are calm about the safety of their children, and for them this becomes a significant deterrent to returning.
As for the expected timing of return migration, the overwhelming majority of respondents (62%) are not ready to name exact dates.
