Company plans
Previously, the company planned to achieve 80% of the share of electric vehicles in its fleet by 2030, but has now admitted that this goal is unrealistic.
Porsche management noted that the transition to electric vehicles will last longer than expected five years ago. Although the company is ready to achieve 80% of electric vehicle sales, this will only be possible with the corresponding demand from consumers.

Similar concerns were expressed by both Mercedes-Benz and Renault, noting that their goals for selling electric vehicles for the next decade may be too ambitious, since many customers still prefer gasoline cars.
Recall
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance wrote that the German automaker Porsche plans to gradually electrify its line of cars so that electric vehicles make up 80% of sales by 2030. The only model with an internal combustion engine is the 911.
