Thus, from August 1, 2024, the sale of tickets for the following routes will be carried out exclusively with verification through “Diya.Signature” in the application and on the new Ukrzaliznytsia website for ticket sales:

Similar verification is already applied to rush flights from/to Warsaw and Vienna.

Ukrzaliznytsia noted that this decision is a temporary measure for the peak period of transportation in order to combat the abnormal activity of resellers, since the company's specialists block up to 50 attempts at mass purchase of tickets per day.

“However, without verification via Diya.Podpiska, ticket scalpers only need to change their phone number and continue their business. This, in turn, slows down the system and does not give bona fide passengers the opportunity to plan their trip with certainty,” the statement says.

At the same time, in order to meet the demand of foreign users who are unable to install Diya, Ukrzaliznytsia leaves the current system of access to international tickets for at least one trip in each direction: Odessa – Przemysl, Kharkiv – Chelm, Dnipro – Chelm, Kyiv – Przemysl, Chop – Vienna, Mukachevo – Kosice, Lviv – Warsaw, Kyiv – Chisinau and others.
