Commentary from “Minfina”

The rise in the euro is due to the recalculation of the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia on the interbank market and the rise in the euro against the dollar on external markets, where the euro at one point broke through the level of 1.10 dollars. By the close, the rate had fallen slightly to 1.0983.

The dollar has dropped slightly due to the NBU selling large volumes of USD on the market.

Rates in banks and exchange offices

On the cash market, the hryvnia to dollar exchange rate is 41.10-41.55 UAH. The euro is bought for 44.60 UAH and sold for 45.30 UAH.

In exchange offices, the dollar is traded for 41.25-41.40, the euro – 45.02-45.30 UAH.
