According to the customs authority, six semi-trailers for trucks were detained and confiscated.

The customs authority did not name the company, which was fined.

It is reported that the company failed to ensure compliance with international sanctions imposed in Lithuania when concluding agreements with companies from Kazakhstan, Belarus and Turkey. As a result, the transportation of the detained vehicles was recognized as a violation of sanctions.

This is not the first case in which companies have been subjected to such measures for violating the law on international sanctions after the introduction of enhanced inspections by Lithuanian customs.

Recall

The “Ministry of Finance” wrote that Lithuania allocated 1 million euros for the restoration of Okhmatdet and other medical institutions that were attacked by the Russian Federation.
