Thus, losses from the cessation of production are estimated at no less than a billion hryvnia: we are talking about the management agreement with ARMA, as well as taxes and local fees. The total damage due to the shutdown is UAH 3 billion.

ARMA has already contacted law enforcement agencies in order to hold those responsible accountable for the damage.

According to the Duma, on August 6, a separate court ruling was also issued regarding the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine, sent to the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Tomorrow, August 8, the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider the application of the former owners of the Sakhalin field to cancel the seizure of property and transfer property rights to ARMA.

“The agency is ready for this meeting and will continue to defend the interests of the state,” the Duma added.

Recall

The former owners of the Sakhalin field, JKX Ukraine BV, filed an appeal with the Supreme anti-corruption court to lift the seizure of their property.

The Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal has allowed Ukrnaftoburenie, a company alienated from Igor Kolomoisky, to resume production at the Sakhalin field.

Naftogaz hopes that the Sakhalin gas field will resume operations by the end of 2024.
