Since the beginning of 2025, the state has paid employers UAH 56 million in compensation for the employment of internally displaced persons. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

“1,500 employers have received compensation from the government since the beginning of this year for employing 2,500 Ukrainians who were forced to move from dangerous regions of the country. 126 of them are people with disabilities. Entrepreneurs were compensated a total of UAH 56 million,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Tetyana Berezhnaya.
Employers employed the largest number of internally displaced persons in the Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkiv regions and Kyiv.
For each employed person, the state pays the employer compensation in the amount of the minimum wage (currently 8,000 UAH) for 3 months, and for the employment of IDPs with disabilities – for 6 months.
