The vast majority of tourists (87.1%) chose air travel. The largest number of departures were from the following cities:

Bus tours: growing demand for short routes

Demand for bus tours to distant countries has fallen by 16%. At the same time, there has been a twofold increase in the popularity of short bus routes, in particular to Bulgaria.

Popular destinations: Türkiye, Greece, Egypt and exotic places

In summer, Ukrainian tourists most often chose to vacation in Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and Montenegro. In winter, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Tanzania, Sri Lanka and the Dominican Republic became popular destinations. The distribution of demand was influenced, in particular, by the opening of new flights from Moldova to Tunisia and from Poland to the Dominican Republic. The emergence of direct railway links with Poland also contributed to the growth in the popularity of flights from this country.

Booking depth increases: return to travel planning

In December 2024, the average depth of tour bookings reached 47 days. This indicates that Ukrainians are gradually returning to the practice of early travel planning.
