It is estimated that migrants from Ukraine could contribute to an increase in revenues to the Polish budget by approximately PLN 15.1 billion in 2024.

“Considering the estimated amount of taxes paid in Poland by migrants from Ukraine, it can be concluded that for every 1 zloty received by Ukrainian citizens under the Family 800 Plus program, migrants paid approximately 5.4 zlotys to the Polish state budget,” the bank’s experts reported.

As noted, Polish medium and large companies plan to increase employment among workers from outside the EU, in particular from Ukraine, in 2025.

According to preliminary estimates, there may be more than 2 million Ukrainian citizens in Poland, of whom about a million came to Poland after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
