A number of leading Ukrainian banks have offered special credit terms to arms manufacturers who are members of the Ukrainian Council of Arms Manufacturers. This is stated on the organization's website, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Meeting and proposals
The event took place within the framework of the industry event “Between gunsmiths: financing the defense industry”, in which Ukreximbank, Oschadbank, PUMB, MTB and companies of the defense-industrial complex (DIC) took part. The banks revealed their ideas: Ukreximbank focused on flexible debt restructuring instruments, and Oschadbank proposed accepting property rights under government contracts as collateral. They also discussed the creation of SPV companies to attract investment in production facilities and the idea of leasing, which is still being developed.
State program
The head of the supervisory board, Oleksandr Kamyshin, emphasized the key role of the state program of preferential lending at 5% per annum. Currently, 9 loans have been issued for UAH 623 million, and 74 applications for UAH 8.64 billion are under consideration by banks.
