Denmark will allocate more than $13 million to strengthen Ukraine's cyber defense

Denmark is contributing DKK 91 million ($13.3 million) to projects to support the development of cybersecurity and defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. This was reported by the press service of the Danish Ministry of Defense.

“The donation was made under the auspices of the IT coalition for Ukraine, led by Estonia and Luxembourg, to which Denmark joined along with a number of other countries,” the message says.

Denmark and other members The IT coalitions yesterday entered into an agreement on cooperation on the occasion of the meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine.

“This donation is an important contribution to long-term support for strengthening Ukraine’s cyber defenses. Since the beginning of the invasion, Denmark has made a significant contribution to the Ukrainian liberation struggle, this also applies to cyberspace,” said Defense Minister Trols Lund Pulsen.

In addition to Denmark, Estonia, Luxembourg, Iceland, Italy, Latvia take part in the coalition , Lithuania, the Netherlands and Ukraine. So far, financial donations in favor of the coalition have been made by Denmark, Estonia and Luxembourg.
