Under the eOselya program, the volume of mortgages exceeded 10 billion hryvnia

Over the past week, 161 Ukrainian families took out loans to purchase housing under the eOselya program. Since the beginning of the program, 6,757 families have received loans for a total amount of UAH 10.2 billion. 1,200 of them took out loans on mass mortgage terms for a total of UAH 2 billion. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

“Since the beginning of the Yoselya program, more than 6,700 Ukrainian families have already taken out loans for the purchase of housing for UAH 10.2 billion. At the same time, 1,200 families received loans on mass mortgage terms – at 7% – for a total of UAH 2 billion.

Let me remind you that since August last year, mortgages have been available to all Ukrainians who do not have their own home or who need to improve their living conditions. In a few days—from January 26—the program will be further expanded and loans will also be available for the purchase of houses, duplexes and townhouses,” noted Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Nadezhda Bigun.

In particular, last week Ukrainians received 161 loans worth UAH 272 million under the “єOselya” program, among which:

    83 military and security officials, 7 teachers, 20 doctors and 6 scientists received loans at 3%; 40 Ukrainians received loans at 7% without own housing, 4 IDPs and 1 veteran.

More often, loans were taken to purchase housing on the secondary market (127 loans) and from developers (30). Also, 4 Ukrainians took out loans to purchase an apartment under construction.

Where the most mortgage loans were taken out

Residents took out the most mortgage loans:

    Kyiv region – 38; the city of Kyiv – 32; Odessa region – 15; Vinnytsia region – 13; Volyn region – 11.


Today, both representatives of certain professions and citizens who do not own housing or want to improve its conditions can take advantage of the affordable lending program.

< p>For contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, teachers, doctors and scientists, the preferential rate is 3% per annum. For other categories – combatants, veterans, IDPs, and other citizens – the mortgage rate is 7%.

The eOselya program began its work in October 2022. The program is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy together with the Ministry of Digital Development and PJSC Ukrfinzhilye. Essel's partner banks are Oschalbank, Privatbank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank, Ukreximbank and Sense Bank.
