Deputy Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada, People's Deputy from the Servant of the People, Yegor Chernev, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin to leave cities if the United States does not provide assistance in time.

“We are losing some territory now, but if US aid is delayed, we will start losing cities,” he told The New York Times.

The NYT notes that the Russian army has now begun to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from territories that were captured with difficulty during the Ukrainian offensive in the summer. After its end, the Ukrainian Defense Forces went on the defensive and are now having trouble containing the Russian advance.

“Without American ammunition, we are beginning to lose hard-won territory this summer,” admitted Chernev.

We recall that it was previously reported that Shmygal gave an alarming signal regarding the Ukrainian budget for 2024: it became known to whom he addressed.
