On Tuesday, January 2, a substantive telephone conversation took place between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Cameron.

The leaders, in particular, discussed further efforts of the two states to assist Ukraine in defending itself from Russian aggression.

Blinken and Cameron also spoke about collective multilateral action to counter threats to global interests arising from Iran-backed Houthi attacks on commercial shipping in the Red Sea.< /p>

At the same time, the parties touched upon the conflict between Israel and Hamas: they discussed the need to introduce more effective protection of civilians and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the civilian population in Gaza.

Recall that it was previously reported what awaits Ukraine at war in 2024: British intelligence has given a sad forecast.
