The administration of US President Joe Biden is developing a new strategy to help Ukraine. It will focus not on recapturing territories captured by the Russian Federation, but on repelling new attacks by the occupying army, as well as on long-term prospects — strengthening the armed forces and the economy.
The document, according to American officials, consists of four stages: fight, build, restore and reform. The plan also provides for additional air defense for cities outside of Kyiv and Odessa, which will allow the recovery of key sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
The strategy will be unveiled in the spring — provided that Biden's request for $61 billion in additional funding for Ukraine is approved by Congress.
We recall that it was previously reported that the West considers the situation in Ukraine to be a dead end: it became known who decided to make a confession.
