This information was reported by Israelhayom, reports URA-Inform.

Egypt sent sharp warnings to Israel on February 5, warning of the possible consequences of the resettlement of Palestinian refugees from the Gaza Strip to the Sinai Peninsula, arguing that it would violate the peace agreement between the two countries.

Israeli senior officials received this warning from their Egyptian counterparts during several negotiations.

Cairo has expressed its readiness to cancel the peace agreement concluded back in 1979 if «the resettlement of at least one Palestinian refugee» will happen.

According to the mentioned document, Egypt received full control over the Sinai Peninsula, and a border was established between the states.

The Israeli publication notes that the ultimatum from Egypt was conveyed to the Israeli authorities. At present, Tel Aviv has not provided comments regarding this warning.

We recall that it was previously reported that Biden made it clear whether Ukraine should expect new assistance: Zelensky received a special signal.
