Zelensky again carried out personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: relevant decrees were signed

President Vladimir Zelensky on Sunday, February 11, made a number of personnel changes in the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, he appointed a new commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

So, Lieutenant General Alexander Pavlyuk became the new commander of the Ground Forces. This position was held by Alexander Syrsky before he was appointed the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The day before, Pavlyuk, by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, was dismissed from the Ministry of Defense. There he served as First Deputy Minister of Defense.

The President also dismissed Sergei Naev from the post of Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yuri Sodol was appointed to this post.

In addition, the guarantor also replaced the commander of the Air Assault Troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This position was held by Maxim Mirgorodsky. Now Igor Skibyuk has become the new commander.

In addition, a new commander of the Territorial Defense Forces has been appointed. This position will be held by Igor Plahuta.
