This information was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, reports URA-Inform.

Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko noted that the key factors supporting positive economic dynamics at the beginning of 2024 were the growing investment demand generated by the budget.

Also, GDP growth was facilitated by the accessibility of foreign markets for domestic producers due to the expansion of logistics capabilities.

«In particular, the work of the Ukrainian sea corridor made it possible to achieve record export volumes from the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation and continue to increase economic activity, primarily by producers of agricultural and metallurgical products, metal ore mining enterprises and railway transport activities. Also, the lifting of the blockade by Polish road carriers on the Polish-Ukrainian border from the middle of the month had a positive impact on both the activities of exporters and the activities of manufacturers significantly dependent on imported raw materials», — she noted.

The official noted that positive trends in the main sectors of the economy form a further reliable economic base for continued economic growth in the first quarter of 2024.

We recall that it was previously reported why mass mobilization in Ukraine is impossible: an explanation from an economist.
