This information was reported by the Voice of America, reports URA-Inform .

The House of Representatives of the United States of America held discussions on a bill on financial assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. However, the matter did not come to a vote; now congressmen must return to consider the bill on February 28.

Before the announcement of the recess, discussions continued in the House of Representatives regarding assistance to Ukraine and other partners — Congressmen decided whether to vote for the document as agreed by the Senate or amend it. The matter did not go further than discussions.

US President Joe Biden reacted to the decision of lawmakers to go on a break. The American leader noted on his social networks that the refusal to vote for a bill to help Ukraine, which continues to resist large-scale military aggression from Russia, “will never be forgotten.”

«The failure to support Ukraine at this critical moment will never be forgotten», — he wrote.

We recall that it was previously reported that Ukraine will still be given military assistance: it became known which country agreed to the agreement.
