Head of the Main Directorate of Military Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov noted that the situation at the front is bad, but not critical.
He recalled that a full-scale war has been going on for two years, but in general — 10 years, so the shortage of shells is logical. The volumes produced by Ukrainian industry and provided by Western partners are not enough to fully cover the needs.
However, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate has no doubt that the United States will approve a decision on additional funding for Ukraine. In particular, answering a question from journalists whether the Ukrainian leadership has a plan «B» in case of a pessimistic scenario in the matter of help from Washington, Budanov decisively stated:
«There will be no pessimistic scenario».
We recall that it was previously reported that the deadlines have been shifted: the US House of Representatives said when they would vote on aid to Ukraine.
