At the same time, its use would cross a dangerous rubicon in the history of nuclear weapons and could cause extreme disruption to everyday life.
«This type of new weapon, known to military space experts as nuclear EMP, will create a pulse of electromagnetic energy and a stream of highly charged particles that will burst through space and will disable other satellites orbiting the Earth», — according to a CNN article.
