Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev once again stated that in order to achieve its goals, Moscow may need to “reach Kiev.”

This information was reported by Comments, URA-Inform reports.

Medvedev justified the need to reach Kyiv for two reasons: the fact that Kyiv, in his words, is a “Russian city.” And also by the fact that it is from there that the “international threat to the existence of the Russian Federation comes”, since Kiev is allegedly “led by an international brigade of opponents of Russia led by the United States.”

«Where to stay? Don't know. I think that taking into account what I said (about the need to create a protective border — ed.), we still have to work a lot and seriously. Will it be Kyiv? Yes, it probably should be Kyiv. If not now, then after some time, perhaps at some other phase in the development of this conflict», — he said.

Medvedev also remembered Odessa. He stated that the city has been “long awaited as part of Russia.”

«About Odessa I can simply say: Odessa, Come back home. That's all. We have been waiting for Odessa in the Russian Federation. Even because of the history of this city, what kind of people live there, what language they speak. This is our Russian city», — emphasized the Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

We recall that it was previously reported what would happen if there was no help from the United States: Zelensky’s explanation.
