Specialists created analogues of the M113, MaxxPro and Humvee armored vehicles, which were named «Fox», «Sekach» and «Characteristic». This information was confirmed by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andrei Yusov.
«This is a story that is truly amazing, where it was possible to restore combat capabilities from existing materials or from equipment that seemed to have already been lost. This includes creating your own parts, including housings and other individual components, as well as using even obsolete Soviet components for modernization. All these efforts bring results and are successfully applied on the battlefield», — Yusov emphasized.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate noted that Ukrainian military equipment not only demonstrates a high level of technical skill, but has also been tested on real combat missions. This was especially evident during the defensive operation and the subsequent escort of Ukrainian troops during the withdrawal from Avdiivka.
In addition, «Sekach» and «Kharakternik», according to Yusov, took an active part in the operation to eliminate enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the east of the country.
