Telegram is spreading information about the “deportation of Ukrainians” from the EU: what is known

Fake publications about the alleged deportation of some Ukrainians due to protests in Europe are being distributed in Telegram channels.

< p>This information was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation, reports URA-Inform.  

Moreover, a screenshot from the supposed page of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine is presented as evidence. The Center for Combating Disinformation assured that there are no publications of similar content on the official website of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.

At the same time, the authors of the fakes claim that lists of Ukrainian citizens subject to deportation have already been compiled and invite them to go to Telegram – bot to familiarize yourself with them.

«Such content is distributed to increase the reach of anonymous Telegram channels to which links lead. The center calls not to speculate on topics that are sensitive to society and to observe the rules of moral and ethical behavior», — reported to the CPD.
