Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov named a new date for the end of the war in Ukraine.
This information was reported Donpress, reports URA-Inform.
According to the source, Gerasimov does not share the optimism of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu regarding the possible completion of the so-called “SVO” this year.
“And he believes that Vladimir Putin’s “excessive trust” in the Minister of Defense led to the fact that Sergei Kuzhugetovich “was carried away by incomprehensible mysticism, makes the wrong decisions, and this can lead to serious losses.” In addition, Gerasimov is disappointed with “how easily Shoigu can be enraged” (referring to the conversation between the Minister of Defense and his French colleague Lecornu),” writes RosSMI.
Gerasimov in communication with loved ones generals allegedly expressed the opinion to him that if all current conditions continue, the war could last another 3-4 years.
“The SVO will definitely not end this year and will last 3-4 years. This is how the situation develops. I don’t understand why Sergei Kuzhugetovich is trying to deceive Vladimir Vladimirovich,” — Gerasimov was quoted by a public source on the General Staff.
We recall that it was previously reported that Biden said when the war in Ukraine will end: the US President spoke about a difficult decision.
