People's Deputy from «Servant of the People» Fedor Venislavsky recalled that Ukrainians abroad are required to register for military service.

Obozrevatel reported this information, URA-Inform reports.

At the same time, he explained that men abroad will not be required to return to Ukraine to update their data for the military registration and enlistment office.

«There are no responsibilities that would arise for these citizens after actualization or receipt of military accounting documents for returning to Ukraine are not established by this law, and such mechanisms are, in principle, very difficult to imagine», — Venislavsky said.

According to him, the military registration and enlistment office needs to know that people are abroad so as not to send them subpoenas in Ukraine.

«A person can live abroad, and they send him messages, summonses to addresses, registered with the TCC. The state spends time, material and human resources to inform a person who, in principle, cannot be informed, since he is not in this city,” the people’s deputy added.

According to him, After clarification of the data, the military ID can be obtained remotely — by email, by phone, through the consulate during updating, in case of receiving consular services.

«Therefore, there are no problems here, and there will be no negative consequences for these people,” summarized Fedor Venislavsky.

We recall that it was previously reported that she brought the military wife to tears:  Anna Malyar explained why demobilization is impossible in Ukraine (video).
