«The IAEA team heard the sound of an explosion at the same time that the local time showed 10:35 am. Later, Zaporizhia NPP confirmed the attempted drone attack», — noted the agency's general director Rafael Grossi.
According to him, this is the third attack on a training center recently, after two similar incidents last week.
In in turn, Zaporizhia NPP employees informed the IAEA team on site that the drone had been “neutralized,” but the details of the attack were not specified. Grossi emphasized that as a result of the incident, no casualties or damage were recorded.
