The Rada adopted a bill on mobilization: in which case a father of many children can receive a summons.

This information was reported by LB, URA-Inform reports.

Deputy, member of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Irina Friz noted that parents of three or more children under the age of 18 in Ukraine who have not fulfilled their child support obligations for three or more months, may lose the right to a deferment from mobilization.

In particular, according to the new law on mobilization, Art. 23 provides for the possibility of obtaining a deferment from conscription for women and men liable for military service who support three or more children under the age of 18, provided that there is no arrears in the payment of alimony.

However, the government proposed to deprive this deferment of those persons who have not paid child support for three months or more, or the amount of debt exceeds payments for three months. This proposal was supported by the parliament's defense committee.

Now parents of three or more children may lose the right to a deferment from mobilization if they have not paid child support for at least one child within three months. Employees of territorial social service centers and support services will have access to the database on alimony arrears

We would like to remind you that it was previously reported that the data has been updated: what needs to be reported to the TCC and by when.
