Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, said that Russia may be preparing a plan to seize the Baltic countries. At the same time, Skibitsky gives disappointing forecasts about the chances of the Baltic countries in such a confrontation.

URA-Inform reports this, citing The Economist.

Skibitsky called on the Baltic countries and other partners Ukraine to intensify assistance to Kyiv. Otherwise, the Russian Federation may achieve some success in Ukraine and then target the Baltic countries themselves.

“Unfortunately, the Baltic countries will not be able to resist the onslaught of the Russian Federation for long. Their confrontation could end in just seven days. At the same time, NATO’s reaction time is three days longer,” — Skibitsky said.

He noted that Ukraine is restraining the Russian Federation, thereby providing the West with safe time.

“The West should repay us for such a favor. But we will fight anyway, because it is a matter of survival. The outcome of the war depends on collective efforts,” — Skibitsky summarized.

Recall that in the United States they told how new assistance to Ukraine changes the course of the war: a particularly important region was named.
