In Transcarpathia, TCCs fought off people with weapons: details of the incident

Vinogradov police are investigating a criminal case regarding a conflict between local residents and employees of the territorial acquisition center.

About This information was reported by the police of the Transcarpathian region, URA-Inform reports.  

Law enforcement officers noted that on the evening of May 3, at the entrance to the territory of the Vinogradovsky territorial center for recruitment and social support, a group of people, approximately 10 people, gathered, violating public order and committing hooligan acts.

It is reported that people tried to force their way into the military registration and enlistment office building to pick up their mobilized comrades. Police officers who arrived at the scene established that in this way representatives of the settlement from the village of Onok expressed dissatisfaction with the mobilization of two of their comrades.

«When the participants in the conflict tried to open the entrance gate by force, TCC and SP employees made preemptive shots in the air. Several police crews ensured public order at the scene. None of those gathered were injured as a result of hooligan actions. So far, the conflict on this issue has been settled,” the police said in a statement.

According to law enforcement officials, investigators qualified such actions under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Hooliganism). Procedural activities continue; law enforcement officers will give a legal assessment to the actions of each participant.

&# 171;Those guilty of committing hooliganism face imprisonment for up to seven years,” the police added.
