Digital nomad visas are now available in Italy and Turkey.

In Turkey and Italy, digital nomad visas are open to citizens of 36 countries, including — USA, Canada, France, Great Britain and others.
Persons who are not citizens of EU countries and can work remotely have the right to obtain them. It is noted that new visa programs and tax breaks provide an opportunity to start a new path abroad. Such options are the dream of many.
Digital nomad visa requirements:
— minimum annual income (as of 2024) — 24,789 euros;
— Experience working as a remote specialist for at least six months;
— an existing employment contract, cooperation agreement or other document that confirms the possibility of remote work;
— rented or own housing in Italy;
— a valid health insurance policy;
— no criminal record in the last five years.
To obtain a digital nomad visa, you must:
— contact the consulate at your place of residence and apply for a digital nomad visa;
— submit documents for a temporary residence permit no later than eight days after arrival;
— additionally register as a tax payer.
