Ukraine continues to suffer from periodic night frosts, which have a detrimental effect on agriculture. Forecasters warn of a new severe night frost, which will soon manifest itself.

According to her, there will be precipitation on May 9 in Ukraine is not expected, and the sky will be clear and sunny. However, thanks to clear night weather, the Arctic air mass will penetrate into Ukraine, cooling the air and even causing frost on the underlying surface. The only exceptions are the southern part of the country, Transcarpathia and the suburbs of the Carpathian region, where frosts will be avoided.
On the night of May 10, frosts will still persist in the east, north and center of Ukraine. During the day, the maximum air temperature will be +11…17 degrees, but in the northeast in some places it will be only +9…11 degrees, in the southern part and west of the country — from +15 to +20 degrees, and in Transcarpathia it will reach +22 degrees.
Fresh, clear weather without precipitation is expected in the capital on May 9. At night the thermometer will drop to +2…5 degrees, with possible frosts in the surrounding area, and during the day it will also be cool, with a temperature of +11…12 degrees.
