Rada cancels fines for hidden offshore companies: people's deputy names deadlines

On Friday, May 10, the Verkhovna Rada abolished fines for failure to submit reports on controlled foreign companies (CFCs).

Zheleznyak reported this information to TG, URA-Inform reports.  

People's Deputy of Ukraine from the “Voice” faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak noted that this  the cancellation will be in effect until the end of martial law in Ukraine.

 “Fines for failure to submit reports on CFCs were canceled until the end of martial law,” — he wrote on Telegram.

According to him, this amendment was in bill No. 10168-2. It was supported by 232 people's representatives.

In turn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Daniil Getmantsev, noted that the adopted amendments not only abolish fines for failure to submit reports on CFC before the end of martial law, but also:

— allow you to provide transfer pricing reporting prepared in accordance with the laws of the country of registration of the CFC;

— clarify the standard for accounting for interest expenses.

“This is what the business asked for at the working groups on project No. 8137 and what we agreed on with the Ministry of Finance,” — he wrote on Telegram.

We recall that it was previously reported that the Cabinet of Ministers is preparing to increase the electricity tariff: the people’s deputy announced the price limits.
