A source from the Office of the President spoke about the prospects for the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the backdrop of recently emerged information.

The Resident telegram channel reported this, reports URA-Inform.

At the very beginning, it was said that an insider from the General Staff presented a corresponding statement. It says that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky came to an agreement with Pentagon representatives to restart the Patriot mobile air defense systems.

“It is known that they are capable of shooting down Russian aviation on the front line. The Ukrainian army needs 5-6 such mobile systems. This need is due to the fact that it is necessary to reduce losses from the aviation of the Russian Federation, trying to stop the advance of the occupation forces deeper into the country,” — briefly noted at the end.

However, the above information is not confirmed by official sources or authoritative publications.

Recall that the White House made an alarming statement about the offensive of the Russian Federation to Kharkov: what the enemy is preparing for.
