In the village of Kolonshchina, located in the Kyiv region, construction of new houses for elderly migrants will begin, which can accommodate up to 200 people .

This was reported by URA-Inform, citing the head of the Kyiv OVA Ruslan Kravchenko.

The second phase of housing construction for displaced people will be carried out in the “town of Hansen,” which is located 40 kilometers from Kyiv. 115 families will be able to live here.

The town is a collection of separate residential buildings with existing infrastructure. Currently, 105 families live in the town of Hansen, comprising 160 migrants aged from 65 to 100 years from various regions of the country, such as Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Sumy and Kharkov.

These are people who have lost their previous housing and are unable to return. New houses are provided to families in difficult life circumstances, as well as to the disabled and those suffering from serious illnesses.

Accommodation in the town is provided free of charge, and displaced persons do not even have to pay for utilities. They can live there permanently.

The new houses where the migrants are settling in are already equipped with renovations, furniture, household appliances, dishes and textiles. Each of the houses has access to a terrace, as well as a small private garden.

In addition, to provide leisure for residents of the town, a special area was equipped, including a cinema, a gym, a library, a dining room with a terrace and a beauty salon.

We remind you that Kiev residents were warned about the condition of the return of emergency power outages.
