The Pentagon expressed concern about the difficult situation at the front in Ukraine and emphasized the negative impact of the pause in aid to the country.
URA-Inform reports this, citing a statement by Pentagon Speaker Patrick Ryder, which was made during the briefing.
“The United States is actively working to deliver critical weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, given the complexity of the situation on the field battle. I must admit that Russian actions are cause for concern. We need to step up,” — Ryder said.
In addition, he called on Western countries to cooperate closely with Ukraine to ensure the necessary level of security. At the same time, Ryder emphasized that Russia took advantage of the situation at the front to move forward, which is an alarming signal.
It is worth noting that the aggravation of the situation at the front has been noted in recent months, especially after the capture of Avdievka by Russian troops and the continuation of the offensive in the direction Chasovoy Yar and Volchansk.
Let us remind you that the Russian Federation is striking at the Sumy region: the Seversk OTGV spoke about the risks.
